Site version description: The excavations of 2014 were required by the CONSTRUCTION of the road Nădlac – Motorway (km 2+020-km 2+200 of the project), section Nădlac-Pecica, LOT 1 km 0+000–22+218, Arad county. Among the remains of the Sarmatian period count a few sunken houses, storage or refuse pits and 28 graves. The cemetery and contemporary settlement stretch on different spaces within the site. Settlement features neither overlap nor cut the graves. The latter are positioned in a circular arc in the middle of the archaeologically excavated area. Settlement features (houses, ditches, various refuse pits) emerge only to the north and west of the cemetery. 26 of the 28 burials are flat, pits are simple and have an approximately rectangular shape, with right angle or slightly rounded bottom and base. No other burial structures, like for instance barrows or circular ditches could be identified in these 26 graves
