| Site version description: | A Sarmatian burial mound (kurgan) encirlced by a ditch. The site was excavated in 2009. It is located southeast of the present-day settlement of Adács, on the eastern bank of Külső-Mérges Stream, approximately between signs Nr. 1056 and 1058 of the MOL (Hungarian Oil and Gas Public Limited Company) gas pipeline. Many finds were collected, most of them are Celtic and Sarmatian, alongside some Prehistoric and Medieval pottery sherds. |
