Site version description:

The site is located on Arad bypass, at 500 m distance from the city of Arad, in the direction of Timișoara (kilometres: 12+250–
11+950), and about 5 km south of Mureș River. Only in three cases the burials can be considered
as ‘typical’: Cx 012, Cx 014 and Cx 016. Possibly a
cemetery could have existed to the east of these graves
(an area not yet researched archaeologically). In
the other two cases where human bones were identified (Cx 061b, Cx 008) they came to light in a surface dwelling and in a circular pit similar to waste-pits. |
