Site version description:

The site is located ca. 4.5 km NE of the settlement Lajosmizse, on the path of motorway M5, on a comb directly NW of the low wetland marked „Bogárzó” on the 1:10000 scaled map. Preventive excavations were conducted on the site 1987 and 1988 under direction of Valéria Kulcsár.
The ArchaeoDatabase of the Hungarian National Museum records the site as a Sarmatian era cemetery with skeletal graves with the reference „Excavation documentation of the site Nr. 16, Lajosmizse, M5 way (KJM Arch. reg. 90.686.)”. |
