The burial was plundered, yet the patch of the robbers’ pit was not visible. It can be ascertained, that it did not intersect the sidewalls of the grave. Only a single bone fragment was recovered from the northern part of the sepulchre. It was recorded in field documentation as „an empty grave”. Crushed skull fragments and other smaller bone pieces were recovered from the southern part of the grave, right next to the grave floor, in secondary position. Only a jawbone fragment survived of the skeleton, which was recovered from the southernmost third of the sepulchre, near the eastern, longer sidewall. The grave was 240 cm long, it was 90 cm at its widest (publishing authors calculated the dimensions of graves based on grave drawings attached to the documentation as neither their relative nor absolute depths were recorded. Only a few bone shards survived of the adult female skeleton, which were observed in secondary position. The only indication on the age of the deceased comes from the dimensions of the sepulchre. The grave drawing depicts the grave as empty. Finds: 1. Obj. 2 Grave Unmarked grave. Orientation: S–N, width (on the northern part of the grave): 90 cm. The grave had a rectangular shape, the headward part was disordered by an earthmover, dislodging the skull. The deceased lay in extended supine position. A fragment of the right forearm bone, the longbones of the legs and the bones of the feet were found in their original position. The skeletal remains were poorly preserved. Finds: 1. a bronze belt end fitting was found outside the left thighbone, complete with the rivets used for fastening it onto the belt. The rivets have hemispheric heads. The edges of the fitting are beveled. Its shorter ends are adorned with incised motifs, 2. a damaged and incomplete wheel-thrown, foxy-coloured, single-handled pitcher was found between the left foot and the sidewall of the grave. Obj. 5 Grave Unmarked grave. Its orientation cannot be determined. It is 170 cm long and 40–55 cm wide. The grave is irregular rectangular, one end is slightly narrower. The burial was plundered and robbed. Barely and bones remained in the sepulchre, most of these lay piled together in the wider end of the grave. The few remaining bone shards and surviving grave goods were found scattered in the middle of the grave. Finds: 1. fragments of an iron brooch were found at the middle of the grave (3 pc), 2. beads were recovered from the same region (2 biconical gentian blue glass ones and 2 biconical white glass ones), 3. a bent bronze wire fragment was recovered from the same region. During a weekend, when archaeological excavation was paused, the grave had been plundered, thus it could not be determined, whether it was robbed or not. The adult female skeleton was interred in extended supine position. Only bones beneath the waistline survived, they were preserved mediocre. Finds: 1. beads scattered around the skeleton (3 polyhedric gentian blue glass ones, 18 polyhedric dark red glass ones, 24 teated green glass ones, 18 flattened globular green glass ones, 1 flattened globular white glass one, 1 polyhedric red glass one, 2 barrel-shaped white glass ones, 17 prismatic orange glass ones, 1 prismatic reddish glass one, 12 flattened globular red and green glass ones and further fragmented glass ones), 2. a pottery vessel was found between the left foot and the shorter sidewall of the grave (lost). The adult skeleton was interred along the longer midline of the grave, in extended supine position. The bones were poorly preserved. The measured length of the skeleton was 164 cm. The grave was undisturbed, yet only traces of the poorly preserved and incomplete bones were discernible. Finds: 1. fragment of a bronze knee fibula on the right collarbone, 2. a fragmented, hand-thrown, biconical, dark grey pottery vessel was found between the bones of the feet. Obj. 10 Grave Unmarked grave. Orientation: S–N. Length: 108 cm, Width: 90 cm. The grave had a rectangular shape with rounded off corners. The length of the young girl’s skeleton was 116 cm. Bones were poorly preserved, the skull was crushed, the bones of the hands and feet were mostly destroyed. The child was interred in extended supine position. The left hand rested atop the pelvis, gently bent at the elbow. Finds: 1. fragment of a reddih flint blade was found in the neck area, 2. a spindle whorl was found at the left hand (lost), 3. fragments from an iron brooch with a rear twisted foot, 4. a single, flattened globular, costate, pale green faience bead, 5. a single cylindric white glass bead, 6. an iron needle was recovered from the grave fill near the end of the feet (lost), 7. a hand-thrown, greyish brown, single-handled cup was found near the bones of the left foot. Obj. 22 Grave Unmarked grave. Orientation: S–N. The grave was delved into the topsoil and did not intersect the subsoil strata. The discoloration of grave outlines was slightly irregular: it was mostly rectangular, the corners of its southern, shorter side were rounded off, the northern side curved unevenly. As the excavation progressed downwards, a more regular pit with rounded off corners became discernible. The axial length of the grave was 165 cm. It was 42 cm wide and the head and 43 cm wide at the feet. Within this patch, the grave had a rectangular pit with rounded off corners, its axial length was 160 cm, its southern width is 35 cm, its northern width is 30 cm. Bones were preserved quite poor, the skull was crushed and only minuscule shards remained of the breastbones. The bones of the left shin were also fragmented. The rest of the bones have weathered away. The length of the young girl’s skeleton was approximately 96 cm. It had a bolar fill, full of black burnth grains and occasional yellow clay strips (the description of the enclosure in the publication was made based on the archaeological section drawing).
